inspired me to write a new song :)

i already have a verse and the chorus. i hope to finish the song by the weekend so that i could start recording a demo. i'm stoked! can't wait to share it with you! 

ps. i was kidding about "cath" inspiring me to write a song. i think it's an awesome song, and i just had to mention it. if you haven't heard it, go check it out! it's by "death cab for cutie" or.. you might as well download the album off itunes! it's great! but... not as great as transatlanticism :P

as much as i love death cab, there is nothing that is gonna top transatlanticism! although, plans is about as great lol.

but hey, that's just me.

art school confidential

i have to say it was better than i expected. almost every indie film i've seen this year sucked, but this time it was worthwhile. 

what i loved about this film was its satire of modern art and how the cliches of art schools and their students were portrayed! the humor was used well, the characters were compelling, and when things started getting serious all the pieces seemed to fit, closing the story with a rational twist.

overall, i thought it was a great story!

oh God, i've had it!

i was lucky enough to pass my macroeconomics course during freshman year. surprisingly, i got a B as my final grade despite my lack of concern for the class! but this time i've fallen short. i find myself on the border of C and D for microeconomics, which totally bums me out. i just hope this studying gets me at least a 90 on the final tomorrow. because with a 90, it'll solidify me a C for the final grade. there is no chance for a B and there is definitely no tolerance for a D! =/ what can you do?

i understand that i'm liable.. but, it's just one of those subjects i despise, even though i'm in college for business lol.

m night shamalamala is lame

so here i am, lounging on the living room sofa, covered in a warm teal fleece blanket, with "take it from me" by the weepies playing on my itunes. its been a long day for me and i've been feeling drained since i woke up this morning. my eyes feel like they're burning and my nose just keeps on running. going to school didn't help. i had no choice! i had to pick up some stuff and take my botany final, which i didn't study for! lol. but i'm expecting either a B+ or an A as my final grade. anyways, i'm over it. its been a grueling semester and i'm glad it'll be over by next week! ...what else? 

well, i finally rented "the happening", despite all the negative things i heard about the movie. i always had an interest in m night shyamalan's movies because the trailers just seem to catch my curiosity. and so far, this is the 3rd time i was disappointed. from this day onward, i will never pay to watch his movies.. lesson learned! 

this weekend is gonna suck. i hope i feel better by morning though.. gotta study hard for finals! gotta get my gpa up! :P
