First, thank you so much to all of you who have been religiously reading this blog. I'm only happy when I can inspire others by sharing with you what inspires me. Second, I've started a new blog, DROP DEAD PREP! My goal in creating this blog is to share with you my love for classic American clothing & style.

a couple months ago i saw this video on billy reid, winner of GQ/CFDA 2010 best new american menswear designer. the video is by the one and only jake davis and it gives great insight into the mind of billy reid.

Gant by Michael Bastian Spring 2011

among the standouts of spring 2011 RTW, some of my favorite pieces come from Gant's spring 2011 men's collection. michael bastian has yet again delivered another great collection following a very impresive showing for Gant fall 2010.

(yes, that's a shawl blazer on him!)

seriously, bringing michael bastian on board has definitely revived one of america's great menswear brands. what a great move by Gant to collaborate with michael bastian once again to make more sweet preppy fashion. oh, not to mention, Gant's first women's line!
