mmmm... finally got some shut-eye. i probably got less than 10 hours of sleep since wednesday. my bad for not to doing any of my schoolwork over the break lol. aside from that, "the appleseed cast" show on wednesday night was the highlight of my week. "an horse" was one of the openers. i never heard of them but i'm glad i saw them live. it was refreshing indie-pop. plus thanks to appleseed cast's awesomeness, i don't feel remorse for not finishing my paper which was due thursday lol.

what else? well.. i lost the auction for the aviator eyeglasses! it was sold for $11.50. apparently buyers were bidding when it was less than an hour left for auction. so i was like, screw it. let em fight over it. i've got some back ups that i'm watching. which is looking good.

i'm going to have sooo much fun this weekend! i gotta make two powerpoint presentations, write a research paper on india, read hamlet, watch hamlet (the mel gibson one), and study for a test. yeah, so much fun.

oh well. at least the mets won tonight. thanks to sheffield's walk off homer for tying the game and castillo's single for winning the game :)

vintage specs

what a great find on ebay last night... i've been wanting to get vintage eyeglasses for some time now, and i finally found what i've been looking for. this morning i bid $4.99 on vintage 70's safilo elasta frames!!! not only is the price awesome, but its condition as well! it's brand new and never been worn. 3 more days and it's mine :)

oh, and... i also found some sweet vintage enrico biaggi frames for $9.99! not sure if i want prescription lenses on these. probably just make them into sunglasses.

finally! baseball is back. life is good again :) right now i'm watching the mets vs reds game on espn. work was canceled, so i went to the gym this morning. just got back from the gym about an hour ago.

haha. i was about to say it's top of the 5th and the game is scoreless but.. murphy just hit a solo home run! LETS GO METS!
